Maternity Benefit (Amendment) Act, 2017
Every establishment employing 50 or more employees must provide the facility of crèche as stated in the Act. The employer shall allow 4 visits a day to the crèche by the mother, including rest intervals. The amendment came into force on 1st July, 2017.
